It rained at Bolling Field. Several successive days of rain in Washington turned Bolling field, the military airport, into a semi-marsh which attracted the interest of passing crane, which can be seen here resting in the water on the field. No damage was reported, although extensive preparations were made to handle aircraft in the event of flood, 9/6/35
