Honorary Commander participated in the annual Honorary Commander Bootcamp April 8 at the Sgt. Paul P. Ramoneda Airman Leadership School. The Boot Camp consisted of a wing mission brief by Col. Joel Jackson, 60th Air Mobility Wing commander, a question and answer session with Honorary Commander Alumni and Travis Golden Bears, an ethics briefing, and Air Force organization, core values and customs and courtesies briefings by the ALS instructors before heading to building P-1 for a look at the deployment line. The Travis honorary commander program consists of 57 key civic leaders from local counties surrounding the base each assigned to a wing, group or squadron commander here.
