"S.M. Sorting Gap and S.F. Shed"..Photograph of the sorting gap on the log pond in Deseronto, Ontario. S. M. is possibly an abbreviation for Saw Mill (also known as the 'big mill'), while S. F. could be Sash Factory. Both of these buildings were on the west side of Mill Street, next to the log pond. The shed in the photograph was situated to the north of the log pond, on the south side of Main Street. Photograph taken in 1907.
