Harvard Chapel on Edgeworth Street, 1856 to 79. Founded during the long ministry of Dr. George Edward Ellis for the missionary work of a "minister-at-large." The Rev. Oliver C. Everett served here for many years. In later Charlestown directories, the name given is "Independent Church" with the state "Reorganized in 1871" -- Pastor, Charles F. Barnard."
