Among them is the sail from the USS Thomas Jefferson (SSBN 618), an Ethan Allen-class, nuclear-powered submarine that was commissioned in 1963 and decommissioned in 1985. Other static pieces include several naval gun turrets, a gazebo, and two propellers. The facility is open to the public, and is located behind the Portsmouth Judicial Center in Portsmouth, Virginia.
