Gliders in 2011 - National Parks Gallery

Wing to wing, two gliders sit before the Wright Brothers Monument during the 2011 celebration of Orville's historic record-setting flight of 9 minutes, 45 seconds. The glider on the left is a Bowlus Baby Albatross. The blue and yellow glider on the right is a Schweizer TG-2, the type of glider used in training pilots for World War II.
