Dansk: Illustration af Poul Steffensen til Carit Etlars roman Gjøngehøvdingen, der foregår under og efter den Første Karl Gustav-krig i 1657-1658. Ib Abelsøn og Ane Marie skændes med tre gønger anført at Abel til højre, der alle har forladt deres poster. Gøngehøvdingen Svend Poulsen har lovet gøngerne tøj, mad og penge, men indtil nu har de kun fået det tøj, de selv har stjålet fra svenskerne. Nu vil de brokke sig til Svend Poulsen, men Ib Abelsøn og Anemarie påpeger, at de vil få vrøvl for at have forladt deres poster.

Ib Abelsøn and Ane Marie argues with three gønger lead by Abel at the right who have all left their posts. Svend Poulsen, Gøngehøvdingen, promised the gønger that they would get clothes, food and money but so far they have only got the clothes they have been stealing from the Swedes themselve. Now they wants to complains to Svend Poulsen but Ib Abelsøn og Ane Marie points out that they will get in trouble for leaving their posts.
