description

Summary

A nighttime inferno causes two 41-foot utility boat crews from local Coast Guard stations to arrive on scene at Fisherman's Wharf in Gloucester Harbor, Mass., on August 17, 1998. The three-man crew of each 41-footer unite and work together to prevent further destruction of the historic area. The 41' utility boat is an integral part of the Coast Guard's response efforts and can be found almost anywhere there is a Coast Guard Station. Whether picking up lost boaters, enforcing Captain of the Port Orders, or assisting in cleaning up oil spills, the 41-footer has been a reliable and critical part of the Coast Guard fleet.

Set of images depicting various harbors, ports, and piers together with ships, fishing and sailing boats, and all types of haven-like places and views. All large image sets on Picryl.com are made in two steps: First, we picked a set to train AI vision to recognize the feature, and after that, we ran all 25M+ images in our database through an image recognition machine. As usual, all media in the collection belong to the public domain. There is no limitation on the dataset usage - educational, scientific, or commercial.
