At sea aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt Aviation Boatswain's Mate Michael Betancourt from San Jose, Calif., performs final checks on an F-14D Tomcat assigned to the "Black Lions" of Fighter Squadron Two One Three (VF-213) before it is launched off the ships flight deck from one of four steam driven catapults.
