Figurine, wooden (Ebisu?) 0169 - 62103acd4169249332d80b02768b3b7d
Summary
Wooden figurine (Ebisu?) appears to be seated hunched over, is wearing a pointed hat and carrying a fish under his arm. Researchers' notes suggest it is a representation of the Japanese deity Ebisu, also known as Yebisu. He is one of seven gods of good fortune. The figurine is painted black. There is damage to the forehead, headdress or hat and the left knee and elbow. There is a hole in the left foot that looks like a puncture.
