Summary
Elevation of the portico in the courtyard of the house of Peter Paul Rubens at the Wapper in Antwerp; broken pediment with bust of Roman warrior at centre, flanked by eagles, holding a garland; busts of satyr at left and maiden at right, tablets below held up by classical mythological creatures; ballustrade at top; after De Keyser; illustration in Ernest Buschmann's book 'Pierre Paul Rubens' (Antwerp, 1840), with 22 numbered pages and letterpress text in French, half-bound in purple cloth-covered boards and maroon leather, simple gold border, and some deroration on the spine, lettered with author, title and publication details.
