Dignitaries cut the ribbon to officially open the new LASR facility in Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON (Mar. 16, 2012) Dr. John Montgomery, director of research for the Naval Research Laboratory, left, looks on as Dr. John P. Holdren, Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Capt. Paul Stewart, commanding officer of the Naval Research Laboratory, Alan Schultz, director of the Laboratory for Autonomous Systems Research (LASR), and Rear Adm.
