Summary

Tallahassee, Florida. Dr. Richard Souviron presents dental evidence at the trial of Ted Bundy for the Chi Omega Murders.

Ted Bundy (born Theodore Robert Bundy) was a notorious American serial killer who committed a series of heinous crimes in the 1970s. He was born on November 24, 1946, in Burlington, Vermont, and was executed on January 24, 1989, in Florida. Bundy was known for his charming personality and good looks, which he used to lure young women to their deaths. He was responsible for the murders of at least 30 young women across several states, including Washington, Utah, Colorado, and Florida. Bundy's modus operandi involved approaching young women in public places, such as college campuses or shopping centers, and pretending to be injured or disabled. He would then abduct them and take them to a secluded location where he would sexually assault and murder them. Bundy was eventually caught in 1978 after being pulled over by police for a traffic violation. Police found suspicious items in his car, including handcuffs and a ski mask, which led to his arrest. He was convicted of several counts of murder and sentenced to death. Throughout his trial and imprisonment, Bundy maintained his innocence and attempted to represent himself in court. He even managed to escape from prison twice before finally being executed in the electric chair in 1989. Bundy's crimes have been the subject of numerous books, movies, and documentaries, and he remains one of the most notorious serial killers in American history.
