Demonstration of Surgeon George Lung's Apron Stretcher

This is a photograph of a demonstration of Surgeon George Lung's apron stretcher. It shows the inventor, Surgeon George A. Lung, to the right of his invention with two sailors; one of the sailors is in the apron stretcher. This style stretcher was commonly used in the twentieth century to transport wounded shipboard in the U.S. Navy.
