Cpl. Darrick W. Crumpler, a Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle driver with 3rd Platoon, Transportation Support Company, 1st Supply Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, looks down the road to Ar-Ramadi during a security halt. Crumpler, from Magnolia, Ark., was part of a convoy that transported a fresh group of Marines to their new base in Ar-Ramadi and brought back a group of outgoing Soldiers. Crumpler, bearing the nickname "Potholes," piloted the lead vehicle for the three-hour trip to the base, providing the smoothest ride possible, but still living up to his nickname.
