Summary
Miniature of a Venetian nobleman, probably named Alvise, kneeling in prayer, being presented to the Virgin and Child by a male saint and Louis of Toulouse dressed as a bishop with a robe covered in fleur-de-lys, within a gold scroll-work border with an unidentified coat of arms. Image taken from f. 25 of Leaf of a Doge's Commission (index commissione dogale) to a Venetian nobleman, probably named Alvise.
