NEWPORT, R.I. (Oct. 17, 2007) Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Adm. Gary Roughead addresses the leaders of maritime forces from more than 90 different nations around the world at the 18th International Seapower Symposium. Roughead, along with Commandant of the Marine Corps Gen. James Conway, and Commandant of the Coast Guard Adm. Thad Allen were keynote speakers at the symposium, announcing the first unified maritime strategy signed by all three of the sea services.
