(Brougham and Wellington) (BM 1868,0808.9429)
Summary
Wellington, wearing a top-hat, walks dejectedly (right to left) with bent back. Brougham, dressed as a German broom-girl as in BM Satires No. 14769, &c., takes the Duke's right hand, puts her left hand on his shoulder, and looks into his face with a soothing but appraising smile, saying, 'Never Mind don't fret'.
