Brig. Gen. Heidi Hoyle, the 41st Chief of Ordnance, shakes the hand of a competitor at the opening ceremony for the 2018 Ordnance Crucible at Fort AP Hill, Va., June 3, 2018. EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) teams are assessed on operations and associated tasks required to provide EOD support to unified land operations to eliminate and/or reduce explosive threats.
