Summary
Below the drawing Hillier describes the context in handwritten text: 'Transports, and smaller craft, anchored in the
Bay, Australian Camp, and part of Mudros village. This latter is a poor little place with only one notable building in it - the Cathedral.
There is a small landing stage for their fishing boats, etc, hidden by the shipping in the foreground here'.

in the bay with an Australian Army camp and a village visible on the coastline in the background.
