V-jpAK, very fair; Hofwirt; Blaue Traube), a village with achateau, prettily situated at the N. end of the Attersee. — The Atterseeor Kammersee (1525 ft.), I2V2 M. long, and 1-2 M. broad, is the largestlake (18 sq. M.) in Austria. Towards the 1ST. the banks gradually flatten;to the S., on the right, rises the finely shaped Schafberg; to the S.E.the broad back of the Hollen-Gebirge extends to the Traunsee. The Steam-boat (quay by tbe station) skirts the E. bank to the village of Weyr-egg, and steers across the lake to Attersee (*H6tel-Pension Attersee, R.2-5 K), prettily situated on the ~W. bank, at the foot of the woodedBuchberg (2650 ft.). Next stations Morganhof, Nussdorf, Parschallen,and Stockwinkel on the YV\, and Steinbach and Forstamt Weissenbachon the E. bank. The steamer steers close to the wooded rocks at thehead of the lake, and halts at Weissenbach (*Post, R. from 2 K), whichlies at the S.E. angl
