Anaconda Historic District, Barich Block, 416-420 Park Street, Anaconda, Deer Lodge County, MT
Summary
Significance: This two-story brick building has brick pilasters at the second story level with rough faced granite details at the street facade and roof line. Built in 1893, the Barich Block ranks as one of the more impressive of Anaconda's early commercial brick structures. It originally housed a saloon and restaurant on the first floor, in addition to lodging accommodations on the second floor. It is currently slated for demolition by the city to make way for mall development.
