An Air Force F-16A Fighting Falcon aircraft is being directed by a ground crewman and is parked next to two Marine F-4 Phantom II aircraft. The F-16A is from the 428th Tactical Fighter Squadron located at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., and is here to fly with Marine F-4 Phantom II aircraft in support of Hawaii-based Army units. The event is a Joint Chiefs of STAFF exercise, which will last for one month (Oct. 2 - Nov. 2, 1981)
