Summary
A satire on the French Second Republic; France, represented by a couple holding a baby, with another baby at their feet, leaning on the base of a cross, is protected by the figure of justice, a man stretching out one arm and holding a set of scales, and a soldier, holding a bayonette and atempting to fight off an army of 'savages', at the soldier's feet are two budles of papers marked "Ecrits clandestins" and "Promesse de partage", the later is held in the mouth of a snake; number 2 of an unidentified series; bound in an album.
