110721-G-ZR255-443: DAKAR, Senegal (July 21, 2011) - Petty Officer 3rd Class Buddy Gavisk (RIGHT) passes a camera to his partner, Petty Officer 2nd Class Jimmy Haurand, from the fish hold onboard the Agnes 9, during a African Maritime Law Enforcement Partnership (AMLEP) boarding with Coast Guard Cutter Forward (WMEC 911) personnel and Senegalese boarding teams. AMLEP is a branch of Africa Partnership Station (APS) that focuses on operating side-by-side with regional maritime services in order to stop and deter illicit transnational maritime activity by conducting these operations with African natives.
