This plate depicts a woman passing in front of the 'Compagnie des Indes.' The woman in this plate wears a pink dress supported by a wide crinoline as well as a 'manteau impératrice' or an imperial coat in fur. She wears a bonnet that reveals a bit of hair around the ears, delicately embellished with ribbon. The men are wearing somber colors, while the other man wears an English riding costume.
