Illustration parue dans le Strand Magazine et plus tard dans le recueil Les Aventures de Sherlock Holmes. On y voit Sherlock Holmes tout à fait à gauche, dans le rôle de témoin du mariage d'Irène Adler et de Godfrey Norton (au centre). L'homme à droite est un ecclésiastique.
