A sailor from the nuclear-powered attack submarine USS LOUISVILLE (SSN-724) is reunited with his child following the vessel's arrival in port. The LOUISVILLE has returned to San Diego following its deployment to the Persian Gulf region for Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm, during which it became the first submarine to launch a Tomahawk land attack missile in a wartime situation.
