Summary
A U.S. Navy Douglas A-4C Skyhawk (BuNo 148519) of Attack Squadron VA-153 "Blue Tail Flies" landing aboard the aircraft carrier USS Constellation (CVA-64). VA-153 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 15 (CVW-15) aboard the Constellation for a deployment to Vietnam from 12 May to 3 December 1966.148519 was later shot down by flak off the coast of North Vietnam on 27 March 1967 while in service with VA-112, CVW-11, on USS Kitty Hawk (CVA-63). The pilot, Lt A.J. Palenscar, was killed.
