A 14th Air Force P-40E replica Tomahawk on display to the viewing public in front of the 30th Space Wing Headquarters. The vintage aerial fighter unveiled at a ceremony in front of 30th Space Wing Headquarters at Vandenberg AFB, CA on April 17, 2001. The P-40 "serves as, a monument, not to the aircraft but to the people of the original Flying Tigers, and as reminder to their modern-day counter-parts." The Warhawk memorial, funded by the 14th Air Force with Major General William R. Looney III in command, took three months from ground breaking to the dedication ceremony
