Plate 4: travellers sitting around a table, having lunch; soup is just being served when, on the right, the coach driver indicates the coach already waiting outside, signalling the passengers it is time to leave; one of the passengers, a red-faced officer, grabs the driver by the coat whilst gesturing angrily towards the table; on the left an elderly woman feeds her pet dog with sausages while her husband looks on benevolently. 1826
