ACCESSIONS Since the beginning of the fiscal year, June 1, 1908, the acces-sions to the collections by gift, purchase and loan numbered 1047.The principal of these were as follows: Group of old English pot-tery and salt glazed stoneware; collection of Chinese and Japanesecloisonne enamels; a series of stained glass panels of the sixteenthand seventeenth centuries; collection of Mexican maiolica tiles ofthe seventeenth and eighteenth centuries; numerous importantpieces of antique furniture; fine examples of old Persian pottery;a collection of Oriental porcelains; many early specimens of Ameri-can silverwork; and a group of rare Oriental carpets, of the six-teenth and seventeenth centuries, added to the J. Lees Williamscollection. Following is a complete list of accessions received during theyear:
