The Persian Rose Muscatelle Tobacco, introduced by us two years ago, has given such universal satisfac- tion tlmt we again present it to our readers witli some striking testimonials from reliable parties in different sections of the United States. Thi- valuable toliacco originally came from the Orient, iuid owing to its extra fine aromatic flavor it was for a long time cultivatoil in the gardens of the Shah of Persia. A small ixirtiqn of seed'was introduced into Hungarv. from whence we procured our stock seed. It is among our earliest kinds, not even excepting the General C-irant. which has always been considered the earliest variety'. _ The Persian Rose Muscatelle Tobacco is ).articularly noted for its strong, healthy, vigorous and quick growth, extra large size of the leaf, which are unusually small ribbed. verA' elastic, of finest posield twice as much as any I have ever seen and the quahty is excellent.
