Samuel Buckle was a British photographer active in the mid-19th century. He was one of the pioneers of the calotype process, which was invented by William Henry Fox Talbot. He was also an inventor and was responsible for the development of the first successful photographic printing machine, known as the Photogenic Drawing Machine.
