Postcard featuring a hand-drawn illustrated depiction of the semi-rigid airship "Pax" flown by Brazilian aeronaut Augusto Sévéro (1864-1902) and French mechanic Georges Saché over Paris on May 12, 1902. Propelled by an internal combustion engine, the airship caught fire and crashed, killing both men. This postcard is part of a set originally collected in a scrapbook entitled Album Gravures et Cartes-Postales: Vieux Paris Types Petits Métiers et Cris De La Rue (1909).
