description

Summary

Hook Edwardian Family Album page #29..Interesting that this is clearly noted as 'Stapledon' whereas the census records have the family as Stapleton...The lady marked as 'mother' will be Ethel Hook, nee Stapleton...I'm hoping that this clearly identified family image will help piece together some of the other mystery faces in the album...As to the location, I strongly suspect given the family's Chelmford connections that this is The Rodney pub in Little Baddow, just a couple of miles from Chelmsford - see therodneyinn.co.uk ( http://therodneyinn.co.uk ) ..Easter Sunday 1907, from what I can see, was 31 March, so this would be 1 April 1907...See more images from this fascinating Edwardian Hook family album ( 72157628625074501 ) .
