Volga-Östersjökanalen, som tidigare hette Mariinsk-kanalen.Bilden ingår i två stora fotoalbum efter direktör Karl Wilhelm Hagelin som arbetade länge vid Nobels oljeanläggningar i Baku.
I bakgrunden till vänster skymtas Köping-Uttersberg Järnvägs gamla stationshus. Det vita huset i mitten av bilden var tidigare Köping Hult järnvägs restaurant och hotell, men det övertogs av Köping-Utterbergs järnväg 1886 och användes då som bostadshus åt trafikchefen. Till vänster vid kajen ligger ångbåten Hammar.

Summary
Three Men in a Boat, accompanied by five delightfully behatted women. This is near Lurgan, Co. Armagh. The photographer's scrawl had originally been transcribed as Rinego? and Pinegs?..Neither sounded plausible as a location name, and we're very grateful to achesonblog ( achesonblog/ ) and carolynxmorris for suggesting that it's Kinnego, although Shaun1793 thinks it's not!..Date: Circa 1905..NLI Ref.: EAS_3968 ( EAS_3968 )
