De Nederlandse en Engelse schepen in linie bij de aanvang van de zeeslag bij Doggersbank op 5 augustus 1781 tussen de Nederlandse vloot onder schout-bij-nacht Johan Zoutman en de Engelse vloot onder vice-admiraal Hyde Parker. In het onderschrift de legenda met de namen van de fregatten met de namen van de kapiteins en het aantal stukken per schip. Onderdeel van een serie van vier platen van de Zeeslag op de Doggersbank.
