Miniature of a Venetian nobleman being presented by a female personification of Justice, who holds a staff with a scroll inscribed 'Pax et Iustitia', to Christ who is flanked by putti, within a border of gold scroll-work frame set with trompe l'oeil cameos, the four Evangelists and their symbols and an unidentified coat of arms (vert a bend azure argent).
