A unique T-34, US Navy Photogrpah

description

Summary

WHITING FIELD, Fla. (Jan. 13, 2011) A unique T-34 "Turbo Mentor" passes in front of several other T-34s painted in the current orange and white colors. The aircraft's grey and yellow paint scheme, with Marine markings, are a part of the Centennial of Naval Aviation's 2011 celebration. At least one aircraft of each type in the Navy inventory will be painted to replicate a design from aviation history. This version dates back to the 1930s, and is the fourth historically painted aircraft received by Naval Air Station Whiting Field. (U.S. Navy photo by 2nd Lt. Molly LeBlanc) File# 110113-N-8891L-002
