80 feet below the surface of Piccadilly Circus, art treasures from the Tate Gallery, London Museum and other collections have been stored during the war in a disused part of the Underground line, which was sealed off for their safekeeping. Photo shows: Works of art being brought out of storage along the platform at Piccadilly Underground Station, to be returned to their usual resting places
