Summary

Her Majesty Paddle Steamer, by John Livingstone (active 1840–1846). Fleetwood Museum. The paddle steamer 'Her Majesty', built by Tod and MacGregor, Glasgow, in 1843. 160 feet long, gross tonnage of 499 tonnes. She had three masts, a single funnel, two steeple engines, developing 125 horsepower each, and had a cruising speed of eight knots. Owner: Frederick Kemp of the North Lancashire Steam Navigation Company, Fleetwood. Wrecked on Raithlin Island, Antrim, Northern Ireland in 1849 when operating the Fleetwood to Londonderry Service.
